Easter Seals New Jersey’s three sheltered workshops employ individuals with disabilities, and train participants for jobs within their community. Our three community rehabilitation programs are located in Northern, Central and Southern New Jersey.
Easter Seals’ Fiscal Intermediary Services began in 1997 when the N.J. State Department of Human Services’ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) decided to support individuals in the community in a dramatically different way.

Easter Seals' New Jersey Outreach Services provides community outreach and case management, supported housing, psycho-education, and assistance to adult individuals and their families experiencing severe and persistent mental illness, and who are at risk of hospitalization or deterioration in functioning, through programs and services in Essex, Hunterdon, Somerset, Warren and Monmouth County communities.
Through Real Life Choices, individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, can through care service providers like Easter Seals New Jersey -- access personalized and self-directed services that are funded through the New Jersey State Department of Human Services’ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD.)
Easter Seals’ Residential Services’ house individuals with mental health issues at 60 sites throughout New Jersey and provide them with not only supportive housing, but integrated case management, and mental health and home care services.
Easter Seals’ SCSEP provides training and employment services to low-income senior citizens age 55 and older throughout the state of New Jersey. SCSEPs’ goal is to help seniors overcome the many challenges they may face on the road to becoming employable. These include work experience, income, education, transportation, housing, self-esteem, language, health, and stereotypes related to age.
